Operating microscopes are the standard in medical care for many specialties (Ear Nose and Throat, Neurosurgey, Opthalmolgy, and many others). Dentistry when you think about it is microsurgery, after all a tooth is a lot smaller than an eye or a tonsil. Using a microscope allows us to create dental restorations with an incredibley precise fit and finish. We can see microscopic details of your tooth that are impossible to viualize with either the naked eye or even "loupes".
